Role Overview As a Managing Director within our Securitized Products group, you will serve as a senior leader responsible for driving the strategic expansion of our ABS platform. This dual-focus role requires a high-level blend of technical structuring expertise and strategic ratings advisory. You will be tasked with identifying high-growth client targets, pioneering new asset classes, and leading the execution of complex, multi-billion dollar securitization programs. Key Responsibilities Strategic Growth & Origination: Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies to capture market share. Identify and cultivate relationships with key client targets to deepen "wallet share" across the securitized products spectrum. Product Innovation: Lead the firm's expansion into esoteric ABS markets and emerging asset classes. Structural Engineering: Oversee the end-to-end structuring of diverse asset types, ensuring optimal capital treatment and investor appeal through innovative structural features. Ratings Advisory: Provide senior-level advisory to clients on rating agency methodologies. Manage the rating process to achieve optimal credit execution and pricing. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between internal desks (Sales, Trading, and Research) and overseas business partners to facilitate global deal flow. Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior staff on complex asset types, structural nuances, and the evolving regulatory landscape of securitization. Qualifications Experience: 15+ years in Investment Banking or Structured Finance, with a significant portion in a senior leadership or Managing Director capacity. Technical Proficiency: Mastery of cash flow modeling, legal documentation, and the credit rating process for both vanilla and esoteric ABS. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or CFA preferred. Leadership: Exceptional track record of managing high-performing teams and navigating complex, global internal environments. With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $350,000 to $400,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.
