Regional Sales Manager

Our client, a premier producer of mixed metal oxide (MMO) coated anodes, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager with direct experience selling these products into the advanced water treatment market. The ideal candidate has successfully commercialized MMO-coated anode products, understands coating chemistries and performance characteristics, and is confident navigating specification-driven sales cycles within chlor-alkali and advanced water treatment environments. A proven ability to influence technical buyers, secure specifications, and convert opportunities into measurable growth across North America is essential. A background in chemical engineering or chemistry is preferred, but deep technical sales experience in electrochemical water treatment markets is required. Reporting to the Global Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of accounts and execute growth strategies from day one. An active network and demonstrated ability to quickly identify and close opportunities in this niche market are strongly preferred. Day-to-day as a Regional Sales Manager NA: Travel up to 50% across North America to collaborate with customers and accelerate sales in advanced water treatment and electrochemical markets. Prospect and secure new business by identifying plant-level decision-makers and presenting MMO-coated anode solutions tailored to their technical and operational needs. Provide technical guidance across the entire sales process, interpreting customer needs, preparing quotations, and advancing opportunities through final selection and commitment. Perform due diligence on engineering drawings and specifications to minimize liability and ensure correct product application. Attend technical conferences, networking events, and trade presentations to stay informed on industry trends and proactively surface new business opportunities. What you bring as a Regional Sales Manager NA: B.Sc. in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field strongly desired. At least 3 years of experience selling MMO-coated anodes into the advanced water treatment market is required. Must be able to step in immediately, leverage existing industry relationships, and generate revenue with minimal ramp time. Proficient with MS Office, ERP, and CRM software applications. Exceptional oral/written communication and interpersonal skills, spanning face-to-face visits, phone and virtual meetings, email exchanges, and all other forms of business interaction. Our client offers up to $170K base salary DOE plus performance-based incentive, and 100% company paid benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, and more.
