Regional Sales Manager
Join a high-performing team that is revolutionizing the wire and cable industry! The Regional Sales Manager will be a key member of the Copperweld commercial team, driving growth across both traditional power grid markets and emerging renewable energy sectors. This role will focus on executing strategies that support long-term sales performance, managing a network of manufacturing representatives, and serving as the brand ambassador within a defined territory. The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the President of Utilities and will require 5070% travel. The territory for this position will be Eastern US. The successful candidate will educate and engage stakeholders across Electric Utilities, Engineering firms, EPCs, renewable energy developers, and contractorswith a focus on expanding Copperweld's footprint in solar, wind, and battery storage applications. This position will work cross-functionally to ensure the goals of the Renewables & Power Grid Product Lines are achieved. WHAT we need you to do. Meet or exceed annual sales and EBITDA goals across both power grid and renewable energy sectors. Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including utilities, EPCs, developers, and technical stakeholders. Develop and execute territory-specific go-to-market strategies, including SWOT analysis and strategic account planning. Drive brand awareness and specification adoption of Copperweld products in renewable energy projects such as solar farms, wind installations, and battery storage systems. Identify and convert opportunities with key accounts in both traditional and renewable markets. Cultivate strategic partnerships with distributors and channel partners to expand Copperweld's reach. Represent Copperweld at industry trade shows, conferences, and technical forumsserving as a speaker or contributor where applicable. Stay current on industry standards, codes, and trends relevant to both power grid and renewable energy applications. Provide regular updates to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives. Other job duties as assigned WHAT you need to possess. High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 510+ years of experience in wire and cable sales, with exposure to renewable energy or utility infrastructure strongly preferred. Experience in manufacturing or distribution sales within the utility or energy sectors. Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Analytical and creative mindset with a high attention to detail and adaptability. Ability to plan, organize, and collaborate cross-functionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and ERP systems strongly preferred. CRM experience required. WHY Copperweld?
