Job Description

SS&C is a global provider of investment, financial services and software for the financial services and healthcare industries. Named to the Fortune 1000 list as a top U.S. company based on revenue, SS&C is headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut and has 20,000+ employees in over 90 offices in 35 countries. Some 18,000 financial services and healthcare organizations, from the world's largest institutions to local firms, manage and account for their investments using SS&C's products and services.

About the Role

Intralinks, a growth‑oriented business unit of SS&C, is a technology leader in M&A, Alternative Investments, and Banking & Securities markets. We are seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Business Transformation to initially program manage a high‑priority initiative aimed at redefining our “Factory to Field” commercialization lifecycle.

This is a strategic Program Management leader role that bridges Product Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales, and Finance. Responsibilities include program management of the end‑to‑end redesign of products packaged, priced, quoted, and billed, as well as evolving governance models and execution frameworks for operational excellence across the business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Process Redesign: Lead the comprehensive redesign of the “Factory to Field” workflow, ensuring seamless transition from Product Engineering and Management through to Product Marketing, Sales Operations, and Billing.
  • Commercialization Strategy: Partner with Product and Marketing leadership to operationalize new pricing and packaging models, ensuring technical viability for lead tracking, quoting, and contracting.
  • System Ecosystem Alignment: Oversee the programmatic roadmap for our commercial tech stack, ensuring migrations (such as CPQ to Revenue Cloud) and integrations (Salesforce, Zuora) align with overarching business transformation goals.
  • Lead‑to‑Cash Optimization: Identify and resolve friction points in the Lead‑to‑Opportunity and Quote‑to‑Contract phases to accelerate velocity and improve data integrity.
  • Standardize Execution: Implement a standardized program management framework with consistent reporting cadences, risk mitigation protocols, and success metrics for all transformation workstreams.
  • Strategic Roadmap Management: Maintain the transformation program plan, balancing immediate tactical wins with long‑term structural improvements.
  • Executive Orchestration: Serve as the primary liaison to the Executive Leadership Team, providing high‑transparency reporting on program health, resource allocation, and ROI.
  • Stakeholder Management: Navigate a complex matrix environment to drive alignment between Engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance.
  • Change Advocacy: Build and execute a change management strategy that ensures organizational adoption of new processes and systems, minimizing disruption to the field.
  • Mentorship: Provide best‑practice guidance to workstream leads and project managers, upskilling the organization in advanced program management and transformation techniques.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Program Management or Business Transformation leadership, ideally within a global B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of leading “Commercialization” or “Lead‑to‑Cash” transformation projects. Understanding of complexities of moving a product from engineering lab to a billed contract.
  • Experience designing or maturing a centralized Program Management function (PMO) or similar strategic Center of Excellence.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Zuora ecosystems. Direct experience with CPQ‑to‑Revenue Cloud migrations or similar enterprise‑scale CRM/Billing transitions is highly advantageous.
  • Executive presence: Ability to influence C‑suite stakeholders and lead through influence.
  • Strategic problem‑solving: “Systems‑thinking” approach to problem‑solving, seeing how a change in Product Engineering impacts Billing and Finance downstream.
  • Education: PMP, PgMP, or MBA preferred, but a proven history of delivering large, multi‑departmental organizational shifts is the primary requirement.
  • Benefits

SS&C offers excellent benefits including health, dental, 401(k) plan, tuition and professional development reimbursement plan.
