Regional Director / Product Line Leader

Our client, a global leader in automation and test & measurement solutions, is seeking a Regional Director / Product Line Leader to oversee its South Milwaukee area location. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a growing facility—driving operational performance, leading a multidisciplinary team, and expanding product and market reach.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Leadership : Manage all aspects of the location’s operations, including engineering, manufacturing, customer service, and business administration.
2. Project Oversight : Direct proposal development, resource allocation, and project execution for complex, custom automation systems.
3. Product Line Growth : Expand the reach and impact of assigned product lines across North America and support the U.S. integration of European brands.
4. Team Development : Build and mentor a high-performing team, align staffing with business goals, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
5. Strategic Execution : Partner with divisional leadership to align initiatives, participate in executive-level planning, and ensure operational goals are met.
6. Financial Accountability : Own P&L performance for the location and product line; support revenue growth and cost management initiatives.

Who You Are

1. A strategic, hands-on leader with 3–4+ years of management experience.
2. Experience in project-based technical environments—ideally involving automation, systems integration, or test solutions.
3. Strong technical foundation with commercial instincts and a customer-first mindset.
4. Experienced in cross-functional leadership and business operations in fast-paced, growth-driven settings.
5. Confident engaging with both internal teams and external customers to drive performance and value.
