Role Summary
The SuccessFactors Architect is the accountable technical and functional design authority for our client’s SAP SuccessFactors platform. This role owns the end-to-end architectural integrity of the platform—ensuring it is secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with Lear’s global HR and IT strategy. The architect serves as the final design authority for core data models, workflows, security, and integrations, balancing global standardization with legitimate regional requirements while preventing unnecessary customization and technical debt.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end architectural design of the SAP SuccessFactors platform
- Define and enforce global design standards
- Act as final design authority for technical decisions
Workflows & Business Rules
- Govern SuccessFactors workflow frameworks and business rules
Integrations & APIs
- Design and govern enterprise-grade integrations using OData, REST, Integration Center, Compound Employee, and Event Notifications
- Ensure secure, scalable, and supportable integration designs
Security & Compliance
- Partner with Cybersecurity and IAM teams to enforce least-privilege access and audit readiness
Release & Change Management
- Lead architectural impact assessments for quarterly SAP SuccessFactors releases
Stakeholder & Vendor Leadership
- Serve as primary technical authority with SAP and system integrators
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Deep, hands-on experience architecting SAP SuccessFactors in a global enterprise
- Proven ownership of EC as a system of record for people data
- Strong expertise in APIs, integrations, and security models
- Experience acting as a technical design authority
- Ability to communicate architectural decisions to executives
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP HCM (ECC or S/4) background
- Experience with global HR platforms and regional compliance
- Strong HR data governance experience
- Familiarity with IAM, service accounts, and access provisioning
