Director, Global Operations Analytics
Harvard Group International, New York, NY, United States
Role Overview
Global Operations Analytics Director will lead the build and scale of a global operational analytics function within a rapidly growing industrial services platform. At a critical inflection point, this role transforms fragmented data across production, labor, and supply chain into actionable insights that drive throughput, efficiency, and scalability. This is a hands‑on, builder role requiring strong operational intuition and cross‑functional leadership to identify constraints, anticipate challenges, and influence strategy in an evolving environment. The ideal candidate brings a balance of analytics expertise and operational experience, with a proven ability to build from scratch, navigate ambiguity, and drive measurable impact across complex, global operations.
Responsibilities
- Establish and scale a global operational analytics function that creates visibility across production, maintenance, supply chain, and labor performance.
- Define and standardize KPI frameworks across global operations to enable consistent measurement, benchmarking, and decision‑making.
- Identify and quantify operational constraints and inefficiencies, driving improvements in throughput, cost, and overall performance.
- Develop production and capacity models to support planning, resource allocation, and scalable growth across the network.
- Build and integrate a centralized data infrastructure that consolidates inputs across systems, teams, and global sites.
- Serve as a cross‑functional partner to operations, engineering, and supply chain, ensuring data is accurate, actionable, and adopted across the business.
- Translate complex data into clear, decision‑grade insights that influence operational and strategic decision‑making at the leadership level.
Requirements
- 7+ years of analytics experience within manufacturing, aviation MRO, or complex industrial operations, with a focus on operational performance.
- Proven ability to analyze production workflows, throughput, labor utilization, and capacity constraints.
- Track record of turning fragmented or complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive measurable operational improvements.
- Experience building and standardizing KPI frameworks across multiple sites or business units.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate data across multiple systems and sources to create scalable reporting and analytics infrastructure.
- Ability to operate independently in unstructured environments, identifying gaps and building solutions from scratch.
- Strong cross‑functional partnership skills, with the ability to work directly with operations, engineering, and leadership to influence decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
Compensation
A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes a base salary plus performance‑based bonus.
