Job Title: Director, Enabling Tech Product Management (Upstream Marketing)
Reports To: Vice President, Global Product Management
Location: Austin, TX
What You'll Do
As a key member of the Product Management and Marketing team you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes.
- Define and lead the global enabling technology strategy across the orthopedic portfolio including augmented reality, navigation, robotics and data-driven surgical solutions.
- Own the “where to play” and “how to win” for enabling technologies—translating surgeon needs, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence into a differentiated, scalable product ecosystem that drives procedural adoption, capital efficiency, and long-term platform value.
- Operate at the intersection of clinical insight, engineering innovation, and commercial execution to accelerate implant pull-through, improve surgical outcomes, and strengthen surgeon loyalty globally.
- Coordinate product and strategy implementation with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing Communications, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Education, and Sales Training.
- Own end-to-end lifecycle from concept through launch, scale, and optimization; drive product requirements grounded in surgeon workflows, clinical outcomes, and economic value.
- Lead global enabling technology initiatives with alignment across R&D, clinical, regulatory, operations, and commercial teams; partner with R&D and engineering to deliver differentiated, high-quality solutions on time and on budget.
- Ensure global scalability across geographies, regulatory environments, and care settings; ensure launch readiness across product, training, supply chain, regulatory approval, and commercial deployment.
- Translate strategy into clear commercial value propositions for surgeons, hospitals, and ASCs; drive global launch excellence including segmentation, pricing strategy, and adoption plans.
- Partner with sales leadership to accelerate utilization, penetration, and pull-through of implants; define and track KPIs such as adoption rates, utilization, capital ROI, and procedural growth.
- Develop deep understanding of the competitive landscape; monitor market trends and translate insights into actionable product and positioning strategies; support executive and investor narratives around enabling technology differentiation.
- Lead alignment across R&D, marketing, clinical, regulatory, operations, and commercial teams; serve as the central hub connecting upstream strategy with downstream execution; drive disciplined decision-making using data, financial modeling, and strategic frameworks.

Minimum Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 8+ years of related experience in successful marketing roles in the medical device industry.
- 5+ years of orthopedic enabling technology experience
- Proven experience launching and scaling complex capital equipment or technology platforms
- Strong understanding of orthopedic procedures, ideally adult reconstruction
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global environment
- Experience with financial modeling (NPV, ROI, capital investment decisions)
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced growth environment
- Experience with robotics, navigation, AR/VR, or digital surgical technologies
- Familiarity with ASC market dynamics and outpatient trends
- Strong executive communication and storytelling capabilities
- Strategic thinking to define long-term vision while executing near-term priorities
- Clinical and technical acumen with understanding of surgical workflows and enabling technologies
- Commercial orientation with focus on adoption, utilization, and revenue impact

Travel Requirements
- Austin-based: 25–30%
- Outside of Austin: 40–50%
