
Sr. Associate/Executive Director, Athletics Lobo Club

Position Summary
The University of New Mexico is seeking an Executive Director of the Lobo Club to be a member of the UNM Athletic Department. The Executive Director will report to the Deputy Athletic Director and serve on the Senior Leadership team of the Athletic Department. He/She will manage and oversee the University's strategic fundraising efforts for the Athletic Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees all facets of the daily operation of the unit.
- Establishes and implements short and long‑range goals, objectives, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement.
- Leads, directs and coordinates multifaceted fundraising activities, including annual campaigns, stewardship activities, cultivation of major gifts exceeding $25,000, alumni engagement programming; serves as the designated liaison with the Lobo Club Board of Directors and the UNM Foundation.
- Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards major gift donors and prospects including individuals, corporations, and/or foundations.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's preferred.
- 7 years of progressive experience in NCAA Division I athletics, or directly related area.
