Job Title: Director of Sales
Location: Clear Lake, IA
Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 (negotiable) + quarterly bonuses (up to 16% of salary), health, dental & vision plans, 401k, generous PTO, and more.
Relocation assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience as a Director of Sales in the hotel industry
- Proven success in achieving sales targets and revenue growth
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills, including trend analysis and strategic planning
Responsibilities:
- Communicate professionally with customers, partners, and team members
- Deep understanding of the local market, booking patterns, and events
- Manage group inquiries, aligning responses with hotel strategy
- Oversee Corporate/BT market segments, maintain existing relationships, and develop new accounts to meet revenue goals
