QLM Search is partnering a specialist US based ingredients group that is looking to appoint a Sales Director (individual contributor) for their European business. Reporting to the Business Unit Chief Sales Officer and forming part of a the global sales leadership team, the role will be instrumental in delivering their 3yr commercial strategy in this specialist Ingredients division across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective Ingredient category management strategies to drive sales and profit growth for the business.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure the business is meeting their needs and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Manage individual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and product launches.

Qualifications

Candidates in this individual contributor Sales Director position MUST have proven experience as a Sales Leader / Director within the B2B Food Ingredients sector ONLY (Food safety/preservation ingredients is a "must have") sector. You need strong knowledge of category management strategies across Ingredients with a track record of driving growth through effective implementation.
