At Qnity, the Cybersecurity Operations Director will define, implement, and lead a fit‑for‑purpose Cyber Operations Program that safeguards enterprise assets across IT and OT environments. This is a high‑impact leadership role focused on building and optimizing our Cybersecurity Operations Program, including organizational design, staffing, and operational excellence. Recognized as a thought leader with deep expertise in Cybersecurity Operations, Incident Response, and Identity & Access Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Applies comprehensive knowledge of organizational functions and business operations to differentiate Qnity from competitors.
- Develop and execute a cyber operations strategy and build organizational structure for SOC, vulnerability management, OT security, and threat intelligence.
- Oversee 24x7 SOC operations, including monitoring, detection, and incident response; drive continuous improvement and maturity through playbooks and automation.
- Lead the enterprise vulnerability management programs across IT and OT environments and ensure timely identification, prioritization, and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Lead and operationalize a Threat Intelligence strategy to anticipate and mitigate emerging threats.
- Set KPIs and SLAs to measure, align, and improve cyber operations performance.
- Design for Scale: Build fit-for-purpose staffing models, governance, and KPIs to measure success. Ensure cybersecurity operations scale with business growth and digital transformation.
- Manage Identity Lifecycle & Governance: operate and mature identity and access management lifecycle, enable secure access (PAM, JIT, SSO, MFA), and keep on‑prem/cloud integration running smoothly.
- Negotiate and influence senior levels to drive cybersecurity objectives and secure IT, OT and critical infrastructure.
- Proactively identify potential risks, address operational challenges, and lead problem‑solving initiatives to strengthen organizational resilience and enhance cybersecurity posture.
Qualifications
Qualifications And Experience
- 10+ years in cybersecurity operations, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record in managing incident response and identity security operations across large‑scale enterprise ecosystems.
- Expertise in vulnerability management, OT security, and threat intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, or similar.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent) preferred.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving skills and practical operational experience.
- Skilled at building high‑performing teams and driving continuous improvement.
- Strong business acumen with ability to turn technical risk into clear business impact.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
