Director of Product for Workspace Search leading the unified strategy for context, search, grounding, and user intent across Google Workspace. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in product management.
- 5 years of experience with AI/ML applications, cloud‑native architectures, or big data platforms and their business applications.
- 5 years of experience managing a product management team.
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or MBA.
- Expertise in leading teams towards business goals.
- Ability to balance technical and business issues.
- Effective leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and business experts.

Google Workspace is a family of productivity apps—Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Meet, Chat, and more—designed to simplify work and increase productivity through real‑time collaboration. In this role you will build a global product team that defines strategy and creates cross‑Workspace AI Search experiences. You will re‑imagine Search with AI, cultivate a collaborative team environment, and translate customer needs into technical designs.
Salary range (US) is $282,000‑$392,000 + bonus + equity + benefits, varying by location and experience.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision and strategy for cross‑Workspace AI‑first search experiences and lead a multi‑year roadmap.
- Own the cross‑functional product development process from ideation to launch, managing leadership review forums and key company‑level deliverables.
- Engage with leaders as a trusted advisor to align product roadmap with strategic priorities.
- Partner with Engineering, UX, and internal teams to drive product success and represent the customer.
- Attract, develop, and retain a high‑performing team of product managers and elevate team capabilities.
