Interim Director of Finance | Hospital | Remote

Position Overview

Our Vaco team is seeking a readily available Senior Finance leader that brings experience with physician services and/or hospital experience (acute care). This is an interim role, estimated 3 months, with likelihood to go longer.

This is a fully remote role, with some initial overnight travel needed on the front end (TN and/or KY) for training.

Responsibilities

This Director of Finance will serve as a key resource for the CFO and regional leaders in budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, monthly operations reports (MOR), GL analysis (journal entry review/mapping errors), and coordinating with field leaders for variance explanations and ad hoc reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven finance and accounting experience, with 2+ years in a hospital or physician care environment
• Bachelor's degree in finance, or similar
• Strong expertise in Excel (Pivots, LOOKUPS, queries)
• Readily available and able to commit to 3+ months
