A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.**Job Summary:**The role is a senior network engineering leadership position responsible for designing, deploying, and operating large-scale, complex enterprise networks across data centers, WAN, and cloud environments. The position requires deep hands-on expertise in Cisco-based infrastructure, ACI, SD-WAN, AWS networking, and advanced routing and switching technologies, along with strong experience leading transformational network initiatives. The role partners closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive strategic network architecture, ensure high availability and security, and deliver reliable, cost-effective network solutions that support business growth and innovation.**Work Experience:**Significant experience in network engineering. Team management experience preferred • Solid experience must include designing / deploying / operating large enterprise complex network environments managing data network infrastructure • Hands-on engineering experience with knowledge in the following network technologies: Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, F5 load-balancers, virtual private network (VPN) concentrators, Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, AWS cloud services, DNS, proxy, as well as others for all data centers and branches, etc. • Design, deployment, and troubleshooting experience in multiprotocol label switching (MPLS), border gateway protocol (BGP), open shortest path first (OSPF), enhanced interior gateway routing protocol (EIGRP), spanning tree protocol (STP), ether channels, overlay transport virtualization (OTV), virtual private cloud (VPC), virtual datacenter (VDC), and general knowledge around network time protocol (NTP), simple network management protocol (SNMP), NetFlow, Cisco express forwarding (CEF), security protocols, and network management tools including datacenter network manager (DCNM), network assurance engine (NAE), Live Action, SolarWinds, and Wireshark • Proven related technical experience with planning, engineering, design, and implementation of complex enterprise networks using Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, network management and monitoring systems • Deep experience with network architecture, IT infrastructure, IT application technologies, and frameworks • High level of proven expertise in QoS design and implementation required • Strong hands-on architect/engineer level experience on Cisco Nexus, 6500, 3800, 3900, 3700, 3500, and 2900 required • Hands-on deployment experience on Python and Ansible • Solid experience leading datacenter and WAN transformational network engineering efforts. ACI, SD-WAN, and AWS cloud**Functional Skills:**Highly proficient at independently designing and developing quality of service (QoS) configurations for data and voice deployments and helping troubleshoot the most complex data and voice related issues • Expert in determining business requirements and providing detailed designs • Expert in designing, deploying, migrating, and troubleshooting Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and SD-WAN • Expert in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting F5 local traffic managers (LTMs) / global traffic managers (GTMs) • High degree of confidence evaluating emerging technologies on an ongoing basis, identifying needs, and making recommendations for new technologies and vendor solutions based on network vision and strategy, leveraging latest industry developments • Strong Cisco Nexus 7K, 9K expertise and virtualization is required for this position • High level of skill in network documentation using Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Proven track record of serving as a technical role model • Expertise with project delivery methodologies as related to network infrastructure**Foundational Skills:** Communicates effectively • Anticipates changing business needs, adjusts priorities accordingly, and allocates necessary resources and budget to achieve objectives • Equips the business to become an effective competitor in an highly dynamic landscape • Considers stakeholder needs and input as well as best practices and insights from industry trends when making strategic decisions • Is flexible, decisive, and serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders within the organization • Demonstrates effective negotiation and influencing skills • Prioritizes and facilitates an culture of continuous improvement and systems thinking • Sets the tone for successful collaboration with other business units and corporate entities • Creates an environment that fosters communication, transparency, and collaboration • Cultivates innovation and values learning as a lifelong professional objective • Leads by example, engaging inclusively and with intent • Always acts with integrity • Analytical thinking • Iterative problem-solving • High degree of skill driving coordination, consensus, and execution to mitigate risk, issues, and emerging threats in mission-critical environments • High degree of skill in approaching major decisions in a consultative manner with a particular emphasis on delivery • Outstanding ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with internal partners and external vendors • Ability to support weekend / after-hours network deployments and escalations to troubleshoot production issues**Responsibilities:** • High level responsibilities include:: • Collaborate with other departments on solutions, system deployment, configuration, and testing for network operations. • Conduct site surveys to determine anticipated areas of coverage with different components. • Execute network planning to manage growth and development by monitoring network performance, exploring performance improvement opportunities, and identifying future capacity needs; develop technical standards and interface applications; recommend resources to maintain or expand networks, as needed. • Manage the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of the organization's LAN, WAN, and voice networks; manage LAN and WAN security; provide guidance and technical support for LAN/WAN technologies and network systems. • Develop network configuration specifications, maintenance processes and policies, and designs for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint, tower-mounted, and mobile solutions. • Perform research to identify candidate access points and wireless bridge equipment offerings from vendors; develop, validate, and track requirements for wireless access from remote locations and mobile vehicles. • Research, evaluate, and select new products and services; recommend enhancements or improvements to existing network systems. • Monitor deployment and testing processes; troubleshoot network systems, provide technical solutions and/or recommendations for network improvements; resolve network problems. • Details: • Deliver on major transformational projects including
