Director of Commercial Sales

TES Staffing, Town of Gates, NY, United States

Director of Commercial Sales

B2B Sales & Project Management – Commercial Construction / Facilities

TES Staffing, in partnership with a New York–based commercial flooring company, is seeking a hands‑on sales leader who will also own a personal book of business. This role combines active selling, team leadership, and project ownership, and is ideal for someone who thrives on execution and accountability.

This individual will coach and lead a sales team of approximately five people, bringing structure, consistency, and clear expectations, while leading by example through their own sales activity. The Director of Commercial Sales will spend the majority of their time actively selling, while also developing the team and reinforcing strong sales fundamentals.

In this organization, sales ownership extends through execution. Sales leaders and salespeople alike serve as project managers on the jobs they sell, maintaining accountability from contract close through completion. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless customer experience and reinforcing the company’s reputation for trust and follow‑through.

This company prioritizes trust above all else. This leader will play a key role in building trust internally and externally by ensuring alignment with company SOPs, disciplined execution, and a strong, people‑first culture.

This role is ideal for a sales leader who enjoys being close to the action, someone who doesn’t just set direction, but drives execution, develops people, and leads from the front.
