The Director of IBP & Business Performance will lead the end‑to‑end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) capability for the US business, driving alignment across Demand, Supply, Finance, and Commercial functions to enable superior business performance.
Responsibilities
- IBP & S&OP Leadership (Process Ownership)
- Lead the end‑to‑end IBP cycle across operational, tactical, and strategic horizons.
- Own and evolve the US S&OP/IBP processes, ensuring best‑in‑class standards and consistency.
- Establish IBP as the single source of truth for business planning and decision‑making.
- Provide thought leadership in S&OP, continuously improving processes, governance, and outcomes.
- Cross‑Business Unit Integration & Standardization
- Drive common IBP processes, frameworks, and governance across Innovative, Biosimilars, and Generics.
- Identify opportunities to standardize planning processes, KPIs, and reporting structures while accommodating necessary business‑specific nuances.
- Eliminate fragmentation and siloed planning approaches to enable enterprise‑wide visibility and decision‑making.
- Ensure consistent adoption of global IBP standards and best practices across all business units.
- Act as a unifying leader to align priorities, resolve trade‑offs, and drive one integrated US planning approach.
- Deployment Systems & Digital Enablement
- Lead US deployment of IBP capabilities, including Demand‑to‑Revenue (D2R) and Supply‑to‑COGS & Quarterly Costing (S2CQ).
- Drive adoption of AI/ML‑based forecasting and advanced planning tools.
- Partner with IT and global teams to ensure systems are fit‑for‑purpose, harmonized across business units, and delivering measurable business value.
- Enable standardized data models and reporting across all three business units.
- Change Management & Transformation
- Lead IBP transformation and change management across the US region.
- Drive consistent adoption of IBP ways of working across Innovative, Biosimilars, and Generics teams.
- Translate global IBP frameworks into practical, scalable US processes.
- Identify and address resistance points across business units to ensure sustained adoption and behavior change.
- Build a culture of enterprise thinking over functional or BU‑specific optimization.
- Business Performance & KPI Management
- Own and standardize the IBP performance framework across all business units, including forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory health, revenue, and margin performance.
- Ensure consistent KPI definitions, measurement, and reporting across Innovative, Biosimilars, and Generics.
- Establish clear linkage between operational plans and financial outcomes.
- Lead cross‑BU performance reviews and drive root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Scenario Planning & Decision Support
- Drive enterprise‑wide scenario planning and trade‑off analysis across business units.
- Provide leadership with integrated insights spanning all three portfolios.
- Enable decision‑making that balances portfolio priorities, capacity constraints, and financial outcomes.
- Strengthen organizational capability to respond to demand volatility and supply risks across diverse product portfolios.
- Governance & Executive Engagement
- Establish and maintain IBP governance structures across the US enterprise.
- Lead executive IBP forums (S&OP / One Teva), ensuring cross‑BU alignment, clear prioritization, and data‑driven decisions.
- Act as the single point of accountability for IBP performance and outcomes across all business units.
Your Skills and Experience
- 12+ years of experience in Supply Chain, IBP, S&OP, or Business Planning, preferably in pharma or regulated industries.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
- Proven leadership in IBP transformation across multiple business units or portfolios.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, revenue, and cost structures (COGS).
- Experience with SAP and other advanced planning systems and AI/ML forecasting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to drive standardization in complex, matrixed environments.
- Strong executive communication, influence, and change leadership skills.
Salary Range
The annual starting salary for this position is between $169,000 – $210,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
