The Executive Director is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing facilities and/or operational areas within the Y, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and delivering high-impact results. This role also provides direct supervision and mentorship to their leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. The Executive leads the total operation of a YMCA branch, including membership, programs, facilities, volunteer and staff development, financial development/fundraising, community relations and collaborations with community agencies.
SALARY RANGE: $135,000.00 - $145,000.00/year
- Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, business or equivalent.
- Five or more years of management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency.
- Ability to lead total operations through volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of branch budget, and program development. Experience with digital programming preferred.
- Experience in management and development of volunteer involvement; ability to recruit top community leaders.
Ability to effectively supervise & communicate and collaborate in a multi-faceted matrix management environment. - Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- Proven track record of developing authentic relationships with others.
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations.YMCA Multi-Team or Branch Leader certification preferred.
