Key Account Director – North America

Join MineSense as a key accounts director under the Chief Commercial Officer. You'll lead strategic customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and influence sales and market expansion plans.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy the market penetration strategy.
  • Drive sales revenue growth.
  • Apply a creative business approach to achieve winning sales outcomes.
  • Implement sales management strategies, tools, and metrics; develop and execute an annual sales plan.
  • Understand technical customer needs and facilitate discussions with appropriate technical/sales resources.
  • Establish sustainable senior‑level relationships with decision‑makers.
  • Collaborate with MineSense leadership to focus marketing efforts supporting growth plans.
  • Ensure “world class” solutions and services are delivered to all customers.
  • Work with senior management to achieve corporate objectives.

People Leadership

  • Champion company values and integrate them into daily operations.
  • Coach and mentor existing team members to reach their potential.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify top performers and those needing support.
  • Build trusted relationships through active listening and honest feedback.
  • Collaborate with HR/Talent on recruitment strategies and life‑cycle participation.
  • Implement strategies to remove team member roadblocks and advocate for necessary resources.
  • Oversee department‑specific programs that accelerate and maximize new hires and existing team members.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of B2B sales; mining industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with international sales and marketing of technical products.
  • Proven record of sales success.
  • Strong leadership and team‑building skills.
  • Innovative and strategic thinking.
  • Financial aptitude and business acumen.
  • Must be available to travel up to 50% within North America, possess a valid passport, and be vaccinated.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • English mandatory; Spanish a plus.
  • Self‑starter, able to work independently and within teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365.
  • Health & safety conscious.

Salary

$185,000 – $205,000 per year, based on experience, market data, and internal equity.
