WoodSpring Suites is seeking a Director of Sales to support the hotel’s revenue growth. This part‑time role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving extended stay occupancy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a local sales strategy to drive occupancy and revenue for the hotel
- Identify, solicit, and maintain relationships with key local accounts and business partners
- Conduct outside sales calls, networking, and prospecting to secure extended stay business
- Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular follow‑up and relationship management
- Track sales activity, lead generation, and production through reports and CRM tools as required
- Collaborate with Corporate Sales team to forecast demand and identify opportunities to maximize occupancy
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities
Qualifications
- Previous hotel sales experience preferred, ideally in extended stay, select service, or limited service hotels
- Strong understanding of local market sales, business development, and account management
- Proven ability to generate leads and close business
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
- Self‑motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a part‑time, flexible schedule role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel sales/reporting systems preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for outside sales calls
