Job Summary

As a Director of Sales, you will bring high‑energy, customer‑centric focus and drive/hunger to the total sales efforts of the hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and maintain relationships with key clients to produce topline business, including room, food & beverage, and catering/banquet revenues.
  • Strategize, implement, and accomplish quarterly sales plans.
  • Work in partnership with Regional Sales, Revenue, and Operation teams forecasting and budgeting revenue and expenses.
  • Lead and partner with operational departments relating to all sales outcomes.
  • Champion brand and company reputation, cultivating relationships with local community groups, companies, entertainment, and/or travel to events to generate business.
  • Proactively conduct sales blitzes, outside sales, inside sales, and/or new conversations to spark new leads.
  • Negotiate, flex, adopt, maximize, and optimize to close business.

Qualifications

  • Experience with direct client relationships (B2B and/or B2C).
  • Accustomed to meeting and exceeding sales and/or revenue goals.
  • Have a creative, innovative, and outside‑the‑box sales mindset.
  • 3+ years hotel sales within major brands and/or 3+ years non‑hotel proven sales leadership experience.
  • Ability to learn system technology.
  • Display a high level of professionalism, presenting your best‑self.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are a must.

Systems Proficiency

  • Delphi FDC, Profit Sword, and Hospitality (Brand) Systems.
