Director of Sales

Job Summary
As a Director of Sales, you will bring high‑energy, customer‑centric focus and drive/hunger to the total sales efforts of the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Grow and maintain relationships with key clients to produce topline business, including room, food & beverage, and catering/banquet revenues.
- Strategize, implement, and accomplish quarterly sales plans.
- Work in partnership with Regional Sales, Revenue, and Operation teams forecasting and budgeting revenue and expenses.
- Lead and partner with operational departments relating to all sales outcomes.
- Champion brand and company reputation, cultivating relationships with local community groups, companies, entertainment, and/or travel to events to generate business.
- Proactively conduct sales blitzes, outside sales, inside sales, and/or new conversations to spark new leads.
- Negotiate, flex, adopt, maximize, and optimize to close business.
Qualifications
- Experience with direct client relationships (B2B and/or B2C).
- Accustomed to meeting and exceeding sales and/or revenue goals.
- Have a creative, innovative, and outside‑the‑box sales mindset.
- 3+ years hotel sales within major brands and/or 3+ years non‑hotel proven sales leadership experience.
- Ability to learn system technology.
- Display a high level of professionalism, presenting your best‑self.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are a must.
Systems Proficiency
- Delphi FDC, Profit Sword, and Hospitality (Brand) Systems.
