Director of Patient Outcomes
The role will direct completion of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Prospective Payment System (IRF PPS) and provide clinical support for PPS and functional outcome measures.

Job Duties:
- Lead and direct the case management department, including staffing, caseload management, education, mentorship, and reporting on patient outcomes.
- Assist in managing patient outcomes: attend utilization reviews, manage medical necessity denials, collect data, monitor quality indicators, maintain FOM credentialing and staff education, verify physician documentation, track CMS13 compliance, and obtain needed documentation from clinical liaisons and physicians.
- Participate in operations/admissions meetings, review patients for tiers and compliance, attend team conferences, and assist HIM with accurate coded tiers and queries.
Requirements:
- Clinical licensure required (PT, OT, SLP or RN preferred). Other licensure/certification considered.
- Two years of recent experience in acute care setting preferred.
- Must maintain acceptable driving record, current driver’s license, and insurability.
