Goldman Global Arts Gallery is seeking a dynamic Gallery Director to lead exhibitions, artist partnerships, and sales strategy at Wynwood Walls, one of the world’s most recognized destinations for contemporary urban art.

Compensation

$95K–$100K + performance-based incentives

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years of gallery leadership experience
  • Proven track record managing exhibitions, gallery operations, and art sales
  • Strong relationships within the art community preferred
  • Strong leadership and strategic vision within the contemporary art market

Key Responsibilities

Exhibitions & Programming

  • Curate and execute compelling exhibitions featuring local and international artists
  • Develop monthly programming aligned with cultural trends and audience engagement
  • Oversee gallery presentation, layout, and visual storytelling

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive gallery sales through relationship-based client engagement
  • Develop and manage pricing strategies and revenue targets
  • Cultivate and expand a network of collectors and buyers

Artist & Collector Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with emerging and established artists
  • Act as a key point of contact for collectors, advisors, and partners
  • Expand the gallery’s artist roster and client base

Partnerships & Growth

  • Develop strategic partnerships with brands, developers, and cultural institutions
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and audience segments
  • Increase visibility through events, collaborations, and community engagement

Operations & Leadership

  • Oversee day‑to‑day gallery operations and team management
  • Coordinate installations, logistics, and inventory tracking
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and overall performance

Qualifications & Expertise

  • 8+ years of experience in gallery management, art sales, or art advisory
  • Proven ability to drive sales and build client relationships
  • Strong understanding of contemporary art and market trends
  • Experience working with artists, collectors, and cultural institutions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands‑on approach
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Existing network within the art community
  • Experience in contemporary or urban art environments
  • Background in gallery operations, exhibitions, or art fairs
