Travel Interim Director of Pharmacy - $3,392 per week

Jackson PharmacyPros is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a travel contract position in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Director of Pharmacy and acting PIC until permanent hire.
• Complete pharmacy site setup, configure HCS, build Omnicell cabinets, and support Go‑Live activities.
• Perform order verification, manage inventory control, and support inventory stock of Omnicell.
• Participate in hospital meetings and update pharmacy policies.
• Provide tech support, including stocking Omnicell and ordering inventory.

Qualifications

• Valid Kentucky pharmacist license.
• Experience with pharmacy set‑up and clean‑up.
• Preferred experience in inpatient and behavioral health settings (all ages).
• Familiarity with Omnicell automation and HCS order entry system (training available).
• Experience with order verification and inventory control.
• Ability to complete pre‑employment credentials: background check, drug screen, HIPAA training, CPS code of conduct review, TB testing, flu vaccination, COVID‑19 series documentation, and valid driver’s license for KY Child Abuse/Neglect (CAN) check. Additional site requirements may apply.

Assignment Details

• Location: Hospital, Bowling Green, KY.
• Start date: 05/04/2026. Duration: 6 weeks (May 4 – June 19; extended possible).
• Hours: Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm; 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Weekend coverage may be needed beginning May 30.
• May be requested to float to other facilities.
• Training will be provided for HCS (EMR), Omnicell, and site‑specific ordering software.
