Business Development Director

Encompass Health seeks a senior leader to direct inpatient and outpatient growth in our IRF/LTCH setting, building referral programs, driving census growth, and fostering a culture of patient safety and care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and monitor critical numbers and progress toward goals.
• Understand and manage operational and financial metrics.
• Oversee all marketing operations, including hiring and recruiting staff.
• Manage admission processes and reimbursement systems.
• Communicate opportunities and threats in the marketplace to senior management.
• Identify new and repackage existing product lines in collaboration with hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license with an acceptable driving record per company policy.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a marketing representative or nurse liaison in a healthcare environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area preferred.
• Track record in leading, managing, or directing sales and marketing, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience with physician relations, case managers, managed care, and knowledge of the local healthcare market preferred.
