SAP Business Development Director – Merchandising/Fashion

Locations: West Coast, Midwest & East Coast.

The SAP Business Development Director will drive SAP opportunities from qualification, solutioning, client presentations through negotiation and closure.

Responsibilities

  • Drive SAP opportunities from qualification, solutioning and client presentations, through negotiation and closure.
  • Identify, qualify, and solution a mix of SAP deals, including S/4H, S/4 Fashion, SAP AFS, SAP IS‑Retail, Ariba, IBP, SF, BTP, Cloud migration, AMS, and testing.
  • Serve as single point of contact for opportunity qualification, building end‑to‑end solution, pricing and consultative SAP selling initiatives.
  • Generate and execute opportunities, interacting with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, and follow‑up discussions.
  • Engage senior leaders (C‑Level) on solutions and business problems, listening to requirements and presenting compelling SAP solutions and business value messages.
  • Own and execute end‑to‑end deals from qualification to negotiation.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of SAP solutioning and services selling experience, with at least 3 years as a SAP sales practitioner.
  • Proven track record in SAP OB/TCV quota‑carrying roles with system integrators similar in size.
  • In‑depth knowledge of SAP’s product ecosystem and industry‑specific solutions, including Digital Manufacturing Cloud, SAP ISU and other roadmap products.
  • Hands‑on sales experience focusing on key accounts and serving internal sector/market unit teams.
  • Strong storytelling, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
  • Experience managing industry/sector and specific accounts (e.g., Hi‑Tech, Auto, EU).
  • Industry alignment across CPG, Supply Chain, Fashion, Retail, Merchandising, Inventory Optimization sectors.
  • Exposure to SAP delivery, pre‑sales or hands‑on sales roles is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $150,000.00 to $210,000.00. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including geographic location, statutory wage requirements, skills and experience. The role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits: a full range of medical and dental benefits, disability insurance, paid time off (including sick leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options.
