Role Description

This part-time hybrid role, based in New York, NY, allows for a mix of in-person and remote work. As the Director of Business Development, your responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing detailed business plans, generating leads, and managing partnerships and sponsorships. You will be responsible for negotiating contracts, maintaining strong relationships with partners, and ensuring the sustainable growth of the organization. Collaboration with internal teams to align business development goals with the festival’s mission will also be a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in New Business Development and Lead Generation skills
  • Proficiency in Business Planning and Account Management
  • 3 Year Experience in Contract Negotiation and partnership development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment
  • Familiarity with the arts, media, or film industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
