Role Summary

As Sales Director, Business Development, you will lead and inspire a high‑performing wireless sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and unit targets. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong communication skills, strategic vision, and the ability to foster collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the wireless sales team, including coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Lead a team of wireless sales representatives to prospect and sell to new business customers.
  • Demonstrate high energy, positivity, leadership, and excellent communication skills in guiding the team.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs; implement corrective actions to address shortfalls in pipeline and monthly quota.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to review progress, share best practices, and motivate the team.
  • Ensure compliance with Granite's CRM requirements in Salesforce.com.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (customer support, engineering, PMO) to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement and service delivery.
  • Provide regular updates to senior sales management on wireless sales results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3‑5 years of proven sales experience within the telecommunications or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a sales team and achieving sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team‑building skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Results‑oriented with a strong drive for success and achievement.
  • Adaptable and flexible, thriving in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
