Project Director – GE Vernova

What you’ll do

  • Provide single‑point accountability for delivery of a 5‑unit new nuclear site (five BWRX‑300s).
  • Lead all aspects of project execution, including contract management, resident engineering, procurement, project controls, business management, QA/QC, construction management, HS&E, and start‑up & commissioning.
  • Work closely with the ITO Lead and Construction Lead to develop the Project Execution Plan and Construction Execution Plan.
  • Report directly to corporate Site Operations Leader.
  • Provide all required progress reporting, as delineated by the Program Office.
  • Provide single‑point accountability for issue identification, management, and communication.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 15 years in other technical “power” related business.
  • 10+ years of experience in the nuclear industry and 5+ years of experience in major project management.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to succinctly communicate complex messages and results.

Salary and Bonus

For U.S. based candidates, the pay range for this position is $232,000–$319,000. The role includes discretionary annual bonus eligibility.

This role requires access to U.S. export‑controlled information. Final offers may be contingent on obtaining authorization for access to U.S. export‑controlled information from the U.S. Government.
