Quest Search are partnering with a high-growth retail brand, originally based in the U.S., is expanding rapidly across Germany and Europe. They are seeking a Head of eCommerce & Amazon Marketplaces to lead their digital growth strategy, scaling their direct-to-consumer business across the region.
As Head of eCommerce & Amazon Marketplaces, the role will own the strategy, execution, and performance of all digital channels, driving top-line growth through direct websites and marketplaces like Amazon. The successful candidate will develop and lead sales strategies, foster key partnerships, and ensure that product, pricing, and operations are aligned for success. This position is ideal for a commercially minded, digital-native leader who excels at ownership and driving results in new markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive top-line growth across EU and UK websites and Amazon marketplaces.
- Develop and lead digital sales strategies, ensuring pricing and promotions drive growth KPIs.
- Build new revenue streams and optimize customer journeys, from product pages to SEO-driven content.
- Identify and secure new B2B partnerships and channels, negotiating deals to accelerate growth.
- Manage P&L for digital channels, working closely with finance and demand planning teams.
- Align with marketing, operations, and finance to achieve commercial goals.
- Stay at the forefront of eCommerce, marketplace trends, and digital best practices, ensuring best-in‑class performance.
Key Skills and Experience
- 5–7 years in digital commerce, business development, or general management, with a focus on eCommerce and marketplaces.
- Proven success scaling brands in new markets or channels, especially Amazon and DTC.
- Strong analytical skills, with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
- Experience in P&L management, pricing strategy, and margin optimization.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills.
- A hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for customer‑centric strategies.
- Fluent in German and English.
