Senior Director Supply Chain

CooperDouglas has partnered with a global consumer products manufacturer to identify a Senior Director of Supply Chain. This role will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations across global sourcing, order processing, and delivery, with a strong emphasis on execution across international manufacturing and high-volume distribution environments.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this leader will be responsible for driving operational performance across planning, procurement, and fulfillment while ensuring product flows efficiently from overseas manufacturing partners through final delivery across retail and ecommerce channels.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who understands how to operate within complex supply chains, manage cost volatility, and execute through peak demand cycles without disruption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain operations across planning, procurement, order processing, and delivery execution
  • Oversee global sourcing and supplier performance across international manufacturing partners, ensuring consistency, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Drive execution across inbound product flow, ensuring alignment between production, transportation, and downstream fulfillment
  • Own S&OP and demand planning processes, with a strong focus on inventory positioning and peak season readiness
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams to align supply chain performance with business demand
  • Manage cost structures across the supply chain, including freight, tariffs, and overall landed cost optimization
  • Ensure seamless coordination between internal teams and external partners including logistics providers and distribution networks
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including fill rate, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service levels

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience within consumer products or manufacturing environments
  • Strong background operating within global supply chains with overseas production and multi-channel distribution
  • Experience managing high-volume product flow across retail and ecommerce environments
  • Proven ability to lead through peak seasonal demand cycles and dynamic supply chain conditions
  • Deep understanding of supply chain cost drivers including freight, tariffs, and vendor performance
  • Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically

Compensation $200,000 to $225,000 + bonus!
