Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Planning, Engineering, and Airport divisions
- Oversee long‑range planning and capital improvement programs
- Develop policies, budgets, and organizational strategies
- Serve as liaison to economic development agencies and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and land‑use requirements
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (or master’s + 3 years)
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, planning, engineering, or related field
- Valid driver’s license (Oregon required within 30 days of hire)
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Civil Engineer (PE) or AICP certification
- Experience in local government and economic development
- Experience working with airport operations or aviation‑related projects
Compensation
The salary range is $128,796 – $185,412 (with a hiring range of up to $153,696), depending on experience and qualifications.
