POSITION PURPOSE
The Director of Data Analytics will manage the design and implementation of the Company’s business intelligence strategy, integrating data to drive strategic business growth. They will partner with business stakeholders leadership to build and identify business intelligence solutions that drive business growth and operational excellence. This role will build the Company’s business intelligence functionalities to provide data analytics and actionable reporting that enable business stakeholders to make data driven business decisions to achieve business results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain business intelligence (BI) reporting strategy, building analytics, data models and dashboards to analyze business results and drive growth strategies.
- Provide business stakeholders data analytics and BI solutions to shape and influence data-driven strategic initiatives and operational processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to provide and maintain scalable BI reporting solutions.
- Develop data models, dashboards and reporting that integrate large, complex data sets.
- Consult with business partners and communicate strategic data-driven insights across the company.
- Communicate complex analysis and business impacts through clear data analytics and reporting.
- Build adoption of new tools by proactively designing and facilitating use cases for teams across the organization and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with departments and administration to establish goals and priorities for BI solutions to meet organizational needs, defining project scope and managing processes through completion.
- Develop business intelligence framework and partner with team members in creating reporting, dashboards and data-driven strategies that drive the business forward.
- Strategize and support the implementation of a comprehensive business intelligence and data analytics plan for the Support Center and company restaurants; work closely with all departments to facilitate project management and implementation of BI solutions.
- Create and dynamically update overall business intelligence strategy in alignment with Company goals and achievement of business results.
- Support strategic presentations, board meetings and annual planning initiatives with clear actionable data analytics and reporting.
- Perform other activities, duties, or responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or related discipline.
- MBA or Master’s degree in related business discipline a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- 8+ years of experience building and maintaining business intelligence (BI) functions in a large enterprise environment, working with data analytics, reporting and BI strategies.
- Strong technical background combined with business acumen to effectively translate data models and analytics into insights that drive business performance.
- Strong analysis and expertise with BI tools, data visualization platforms, and data management systems (SQL, ETL).
- Experience building dashboards and working with BI tools such as Tableau, SAP Business Objects, Web Intelligence, etc.
- Experience working with large, complex data sets and distributed systems, sourcing data from a variety of reporting platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners.
- Ability to prioritize and plan work assignments and work under pressure with frequent and tight deadlines.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret complex reports, documents, and correspondence.
- Adept at managing and prioritizing competing time-sensitive requests while working well in a team atmosphere that may be under pressure.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment on matters of significance to the company.
