Salary Range: $94,415 – $118,020 per year

Are you a visionary leader in the field of Radiologic Technology? As the Radiography Program Director at our San Antonio campus, you will be the architect of our students' success, directing all educational activities and managing the curriculum to ensure it meets the highest professional standards. You will lead a dedicated team of faculty and clinical staff, bridging the gap between advanced imaging theory and hands‑on clinical mastery to prepare the next generation of Radiologic Technologists.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Administration

  • Department Oversight: Supervise radiography staff and faculty, establish department goals, and determine teaching assignments.
  • Accreditation & Compliance: Maintain all ARRT records, prepare annual reports, and lead the self‑study process for JRCERT accreditation.
  • Financial Stewardship: Monitor the department budget and expenditures to maintain a resourceful and effective program.
  • Curriculum Design: Develop and maintain a functional curriculum; evaluate course content, review new texts, and collaborate with administration on program implementation.

Student Success & Mentorship

  • Academic Achievement: Maintain an 80% student success rate; review performance data and implement intervention plans to reduce student withdrawals.
  • Clinical Excellence: Secure new clinical sites, manage agreements, and conduct site visits to evaluate student progress and ensure effective clinical education.
  • Instructional Delivery: Perform the functions of a Radiography instructor, preparing didactic instruction, course objectives, and evaluating student performance.
  • Records Management: Maintain student grades in accordance with policy and prepare final grades for transcripts at the end of each semester.

Professional Development

  • Faculty Growth: Coordinate and arrange educational workshops and in‑services for both didactic and clinical faculty.
  • Advisory Collaboration: Serve as a primary link between the campus, the San Antonio clinical community, and the Program Advisory Board.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree from a USDE or CHEA recognized accredited institution.
  • Training: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Instructional Experience: Two (2) years of documented experience as an instructor in a JRCERT‑accredited Radiography program.
  • Clinical Experience: Three (3) years of full‑time clinical experience in medical imaging.
  • Licensure: Current ARRT registration in Radiologic Sciences (or unrestricted Texas state license) and all credentials required by law to work in the field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and modern educational technology.
