Optum Financial is seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join our team and drive the growth and success of the "Bank of Healthcare".
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lifestyle and supplemental spending product strategy & delivery
- Own the directed spend and lifestyle spending account (LSA) product strategy, including vision, value proposition, and product roadmap, ensuring capabilities align to business objectives
- Lead product planning and prioritization activities while promoting collaboration among product teams, business and technology partners
- Collaborate closely with Technology, Design, Sales, Operations and Customer Support to ensure successful product development, launch and adoption
- Partnerships & ecosystem enablement
- Provide product leadership and execution support for strategic partnerships, including managing integration requirements, roadmap, and implementation
- Ensure partner‑led capabilities reinforce strategy and core value proposition
- New growth category expansion
- Collaborate on new product category assessments and incubation efforts
- Lead product discovery efforts including concept validation, regulatory & compliance considerations, and service model impacts
- Champion a customer‑centric approach while using data‑driven insights, customer feedback, competitive analysis and market demands to inform product recommendations and business case development
- Strategic leadership & influence
- Serve as a thought partner and strategic product leader
- Represent growth initiatives in product roadmap and portfolio planning discussions through clarity of vision, data and executive‑ready narratives

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years as a product manager or relevant implementations/operations experience in Employee Benefits, Payments and/or FinTech industry
- Experience conceptualizing, researching, and evaluating new product ideas objectively from data‑driven and market‑informed standpoint
- Experience developing and influencing product strategy & design with omni‑channel experiences that delight our customers and clients
- Experience with product development using Agile/Scrum or similar methodologies, and associated tools (Jira Product Discovery, Jira, Confluence)
- Solid understanding of Health Benefit and Directed Spend Accounts and related regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing a product through its full development lifecycle from concept to launch and ongoing optimisation
- Experience thinking strategically and building solid working relationships across organisational teams in a fast‑paced and changing environment
- Experience defining and launching products in an Agile environment
- Experience collaborating with engineering and business teams in a highly matrixed environment
- Experience presenting complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non‑technical audiences

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labour markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programmes, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full‑time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
