Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. is recruiting for a Director Strategic Contracting, Institutional Business Group - West. The position is a field-based role with accounts located across the Western half of the US. Up to 50% travel may be required.
Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine accounts specializing in Integrated Health Systems (IDNs), associated owned regional health plans, national and regional Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), national Health Plan engagement at IDN, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), and Specialized Pharmacy Providers (SPPs). The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.
Key Areas Of Responsibility
- Position the Janssen brands to achieve optimal formulary access through the creation and management of contracts within assigned single-BU accounts.
- Proactively assess market trends and anticipate contractual opportunities in targeted accounts.
- Work closely with various key field partners in targeted accounts to evaluate and mobilize on contract needs and communicate through the contract development process.
- Proactively engage Value Access & Pricing Team and Offer Development partners to present contract concepts, review current strategies and profitability in aligned accounts.
- Conduct quarterly Business Reviews with targeted accounts to review contract and product performance and value.
- Serve as primary IBG CARVYKTI lead for accounts aligned to West geography.
- Report to National Field Director.
- Act as primary contact for 340b inquiries for targeted accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- 6 or more years of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience required.
- 3 or more years of large/Integrated account management experience required.
- Experience in IDN, GPO, or provider contract negotiations required.
- 2 or more years of people management experience preferred.
- Experience working with Group Purchasing Organizations preferred.

Compensation
The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $141,000.00 - $243,800.00
Additional Pay Transparency
- Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
- This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long‑term incentive program.

- Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours in Colorado, 56 hours in Washington)
- Holiday pay, including floating holidays – 13 days per calendar year
