The Opportunity

We are hiring a Business Development Director (China) to lead and scale our commercial growth in China. You will own revenue outcomes, build strategic relationships with top-tier gaming companies, and help shape our go-to-market approach in one of the world's most dynamic gaming markets. You will work closely with the Company's Founder and collaborate with international teams to deliver high-impact campaigns. This role is for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment: competitive, ambitious, creative, and highly independent.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Ownership & Market Strategy: Build and execute the commercial plan to meet quarterly targets and define China GTM priorities including segmentation and expansion strategy.
  • New Business Acquisition: Drive new client acquisition through cold outreach, reactivation, pitching, and closing.
  • Key Account Growth: Build trusted senior relationships across China’s gaming ecosystem, managing accounts end-to-end including budgeting and upselling.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coach a team of China-based business developers, setting goals and raising execution standards.
  • Market Intelligence: Track trends, platforms, and upcoming game releases to translate insights into actionable initiatives.
  • Representation: Represent the company at key industry events and conferences in China and beyond.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in Business Development, Account Management, or related revenue-driving roles.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience within the gaming industry is a must-have.
  • Network: A strong existing network within China's gaming ecosystem, ideally on the marketing or publishing side.
  • Languages: Native Mandarin speaker with fluent English skills.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to drive significant revenue growth.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Previous leadership roles in top-tier Chinese gaming companies and experience with influencer marketing.
