Overview

The Oxford Hills School District is seeking candidates for the position of Executive Director for the Western Maine Regional Program for Children With Exceptionalities (WMRPCE) . This is a regional program comprising MSAD/RSU 17, MSAD/RSU 72, and RSU 44. Applications accepted until Friday, April 17, 2026. The program, located in Oxford, ME, serves students in grades 7-12.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Western Maine Regional Program for Children With Exceptionalities (WMRPCE).
  • Collaborate with participating districts to support students with exceptionalities in grades 7-12.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in special education or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with challenging behaviors and autism.
  • Knowledge of the special education process and regulations.
  • Adequately certified to supervise staff in such a program.
  • Must hold Maine Administrator Certification and be able to supervise staff and students with special education services.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with administrative and supervisory experience.
  • 030 Certification is required.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
