Paradigm Treatment Centers provides personalized residential psychiatric treatment for adolescents ages 13–17 experiencing mental health and co-occurring substance use challenges. With transformative residential facilities in Malibu, CA; San Rafael, CA; and Austin, TX , Paradigm has more than a decade of experience helping teens and young adults build the skills needed for long-term emotional wellness and recovery.

Position Overview

The Program Director oversees the daily operations of Paradigm’s adolescent residential program in Austin, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical and therapeutic services. This role provides leadership to multidisciplinary teams, maintains compliance with regulatory standards, and ensures continuity of care from intake through discharge.

The Program Director works closely with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and direct care staff to support effective treatment delivery while maintaining a safe and structured environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential treatment program.
  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary clinical team , ensuring Paradigm’s core values and treatment philosophy are integrated into client care.
  • Coordinate treatment services from intake through discharge , ensuring continuity of care and effective communication among staff.
  • Supervise program staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and retention of direct care personnel.
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation , including case records, client charts, and service notes in accordance with company, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor program performance and productivity to ensure quality standards and service delivery goals are met.
  • Oversee client safety and crisis management , including reporting procedures and referrals when necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and federal regulations .
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and staff trainings .
  • Collaborate with community partners, local organizations, and external providers to support program effectiveness and continuity of care.
  • Assist with facility operations, staffing schedules, and program logistics as needed.
  • Assist in oversight of the day-to-day operations of the residential treatment program.
  • Assist in leadership and support a multidisciplinary clinical team, ensuring Paradigm’s core values and treatment philosophy are integrated into client care.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership or management experience in a residential treatment, behavioral health, or intensive outpatient setting.
  • Experience working with adolescents in mental health or substance use treatment preferred.
  • Valid Texas Child Care License required .
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet program and client needs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Salary and Benefits

$85,000 - $110,000 USD
