Senior Director Supply Chain

Are you a strategic supply chain leader who thrives on building high-performing operations and driving enterprise-wide impact? We’re looking for a Senior Director of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution across a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for aligning demand, supply, and financial performance—ensuring operational excellence, cost optimization, and exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do

Own the End-to-End Supply Chain

  • Lead the full supply chain lifecycle from demand planning through customer fulfillment
  • Establish performance metrics, governance, and accountability across all functions
  • Align supply chain strategy with business goals and customer commitments
  • Partner with site leadership to drive operational execution and working capital performance

Drive Planning, Scheduling & SIOP Excellence

  • Lead the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process and executive reviews
  • Enhance forecast accuracy through data, analytics, and scenario planning
  • Oversee demand planning, capacity planning, and production scheduling
  • Monitor KPIs, mitigate risks, and implement continuous improvements

Lead Strategic Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Own sourcing strategy, procurement operations, and supplier relationships
  • Negotiate contracts to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and risk
  • Implement supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives

Optimize Working Capital & Inventory

  • Develop inventory strategies that balance service, cost, and cash flow
  • Improve inventory turns, DIO, and material availability
  • Partner with Finance to manage working capital and cash flow impacts
  • Reduce excess and obsolete inventory through targeted initiatives

Champion Continuous Improvement

  • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence initiatives
  • Standardize processes and improve data integrity across systems
  • Leverage ERP and planning tools to enhance decision-making
  • Build a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and execution

Influence Across the Enterprise

  • Partner with Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Technology leaders
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on supply chain strategy, risks, and trade-offs
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team

Key Metrics for Success

  • Customer service levels (OTIF)
  • Forecast accuracy and SIOP effectiveness
  • Inventory turns, DIO, and working capital performance
  • Procurement savings and supplier performance
  • Schedule adherence and capacity utilization
  • Productivity gains and continuous improvement impact

What You Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience
  • Deep expertise in SIOP, planning, scheduling, and procurement
  • Strong financial acumen with direct impact on working capital and cash flow
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior leadership
  • Experience across mixed manufacturing models (Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, etc.)

Preferred:

  • Experience in manufacturing or complex supply chain environments
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP)
  • ERP and advanced planning systems experience
