Overview

ALIYA Healthcare is seeking a results-driven Regional Director of Business Development to lead census growth and referral development across multiple skilled nursing facilities. This role is ideal for a proven leader with strong SNF experience and an established background as a hospital liaison, with the ability to build and maintain key referral relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Drive census growth and occupancy across assigned facilities
  • Develop and execute regional business development strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, and referral sources
  • Oversee and support facility-level liaisons and admissions teams
  • Identify new referral opportunities and strategic partnerships within the market
  • Monitor referral trends, conversion rates, and competitive market activity
  • Collaborate with Administrators and clinical teams to align admissions with facility capabilities
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all referrals and lead conversion efforts
  • Conduct regular facility visits and provide coaching to admissions and marketing staff
  • Represent the organization at hospital meetings, community events, and networking opportunities
  • Track and report census goals, outreach activity, and performance metrics

Qualifications

  • Required: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
  • Required: Hospital liaison or healthcare business development experience
  • Proven track record of driving census and building referral pipelines
  • Strong relationships with hospitals, case managers, and discharge planners preferred
  • Experience managing multiple facilities or a regional territory
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze data and adjust strategy based on market trends
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented
