What You Will Do - Provide strategic oversight and leadership in delivering tax advisory and compliance services for corporations across the insurance industry, ensuring regulatory alignment and client value.
- Oversee complex tax research and insights, translating technical findings into actionable strategies for clients and firm leadership; ensure quality and compliance through high‑level review of tax filings and risk management protocols.
- Strengthen client relationships by delivering proactive, high‑impact tax solutions and positioning the firm as a trusted advisor.
- Drive a culture of client service excellence, fostering long‑term partnerships and consistent engagement.
- Develop and lead high‑performing teams, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development.
- Manage project execution and resource allocation, ensuring timely, efficient, and high‑quality service delivery.
- Support firm growth through strategic planning, client retention, and targeted business development initiatives.
- Expand market presence by representing the firm at industry events and cultivating new opportunities.
- Maintain technical leadership through ongoing education, regulatory awareness, and internal knowledge sharing.
- Promote thought leadership by authoring publications and leading firm‑wide training initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- 11+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting, or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting.
- Current and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings; travel may include overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a related field.
