
Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)

A high-growth, venture-backed technology company operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence, software platforms, and edge computing is seeking a Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to partner closely with the Board and executive leadership team.
This role is designed for a business-oriented executive leader with strong software and platform instincts , capable of shaping and executing company-wide strategy while driving operational alignment across product, go-to-market, and ecosystem partnerships.
The CSO will play a pivotal role in defining long-term direction, scaling commercial success, and positioning the company as a category leader in a rapidly evolving AI-driven market.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Define and drive the company’s long-term strategic direction, aligning product, market positioning, and growth initiatives to maximize enterprise value.
- Partner closely with the Board and executive team to translate market opportunities and technological capabilities into clear, actionable business strategies.
Business & Operational Execution
- Lead cross-functional execution across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and measurable business outcomes.
- Establish and manage key performance metrics, driving accountability for revenue growth, operational efficiency, and scalable business processes.
- Shape the evolution of the company’s software platform and ecosystem, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and strong developer and enterprise adoption.
- Define and execute go-to-market and partnership strategies, expanding into new markets and building strategic alliances across technology and distribution ecosystems.
Qualifications
- Proven executive leadership experience with a track record of scaling high-growth technology businesses and driving revenue expansion
- Strong business-minded leader with deep expertise in software platforms, AI/ML products, and modern architectures (APIs, cloud, edge ecosystems)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear strategy, market positioning, and commercial outcomes
- Experience operating in emerging technology environments, with a strong understanding of enterprise sales, developer adoption, and partner ecosystems
- Exceptional strategic, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence Boards, align organizations, and execute in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
