What You'll Do

LogicMonitor® is an AI‑first hybrid observability platform. As Director, Business Intelligence & Data Strategy, you will transform our data organization into a trusted, scalable, and AI‑enabled enterprise capability, partnering with executive stakeholders across Product, Finance, GTM, and Operations to deliver measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Data Platform & Technical Leadership
    • Own and evolve the end‑to‑end data architecture across Snowflake and Power BI.
    • Drive improvements in data modeling, transformation frameworks, semantic layer design, performance, and cost efficiency.
    • Establish best practices for data engineering, BI development, and analytics consumption.
    • Ensure a scalable, reliable, and high‑quality data foundation.
  • AI‑First Data & Analytics Strategy
    • Define and execute an AI‑first data strategy aligned with enterprise priorities.
    • Enable trusted, governed datasets to support machine learning, predictive analytics, and generative AI use cases.
    • Drive adoption of AI‑enabled analytics, including automated insights and augmented BI experiences.
    • Partner with business and technical leaders to translate AI opportunities into real business value.
  • Data Governance & Trust Transformation
    • Design and implement a company‑wide data governance framework from the ground up.
    • Define data ownership and stewardship models, data quality standards and SLAs, metadata management, and lineage.
    • Establish clear accountability mechanisms across business and technical teams.
    • Lead initiatives to rebuild enterprise trust in data through transparency, consistency, and measurable improvements.
  • Executive Stakeholder Leadership
    • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing decision‑making and driving alignment.
    • Manage competing priorities across a highly matrixed organization.
    • Ensure strong follow‑through on commitments, with clear communication and accountability.
    • Translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Organizational Leadership & Execution
    • Build and lead a high‑performing BI and data organization with a culture of ownership and accountability.
    • Drive execution in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment, bringing structure and clarity where needed.
    • Lead cross‑functional initiatives from strategy through delivery and measurable outcomes.
    • Partner with vendors and strategic partners to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, or BI leadership, including enterprise‑level ownership.
  • Deep experience with modern data platforms, particularly Snowflake, and BI tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, transformation, and semantic layer design.
  • Proven ability to improve data quality, reliability, and performance at scale.
  • Experience enabling data foundations for AI/ML or advanced analytics use cases, with the ability to connect AI initiatives to tangible business outcomes.
  • Proven success in transforming or rebuilding data organizations, particularly in environments with low trust.
  • Strong track record of delivering results in complex, fast‑changing environments.
  • Exceptional ability to influence, negotiate, and drive alignment at the executive level.
  • Demonstrated strong follow‑through, accountability, and delivering on commitments.
  • Politically savvy with the ability to navigate organizational complexity and conflicting priorities.
  • Experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks at scale.
  • Strong understanding of organizational change management across business and technical teams.
  • Experience developing and executing data and technology roadmaps aligned to business strategy.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $163,170 USD – $214,148 USD.
