Responsibilities
- Assess residents to determine appropriate activities.
- Encourage participation to stimulate communication and wellbeing.
- Coordinate activity program with volunteers and groups, integrating with existing routines.
- Plan special events, parties, entertainment, games, and crafts; encourage residents to assist.
- Maintain a pleasant environment by decorating, bulletin boards, and helping residents display personal items.
- Find methods to motivate residents to engage with life and community.
- Supervise overall activity programs, focusing on those needing special attention.
- Ensure activity area is orderly before and after each session.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D certificate.
- Experience in various activities and handicrafts.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
