Activities Director

The Activity Director is responsible for leading the community's assisted living and memory care activity programs which include development and implementation programming geared towards a variety of individual abilities and interests. This position also includes supervising other members of the activity staff.
An energetic, creative, self-directed Engagement and Lifestyle Director will implement, supervise, and participate in activities in our senior living community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group engagement activities for residents as well as assist with special community events
- Plan and coordinate activities
- Maintain the monthly calendar of activities and events that provide a variety of resident and family-centered experiences
- Prepare the monthly newsletter
Qualifications
- Passion for working with active senior adults and adults with Alzheimer's and Dementia
- Comfortable, creative, upbeat, positive, and happy working with groups of people
- At least one year of job-related experience preferably in a senior living environment
