
Strategy Principal Director, Data & AI Strategy (Industrials)

Responsibilities
- Shape vision and create opportunities for data & AI‑led business reinvention.
- Build client relationships and credibility as a trusted advisor on how to infuse Data & AI into business processes or functions.
- Define and structure an organization’s data and AI strategy to build and optimize data assets and AI technologies for growth and competitive advantage.
- Assess maturity of an organization’s data and AI foundation.
- Define building blocks required to convert to an AI‑first organization, including technology and AI platform blueprint, data strategy and future‑ready operating model.
- Create the business case, investment profile and roadmap to deliver on the strategy.
- Infuse Responsible AI in vision and roadmap, develop a plan for leveraging ecosystem partners, and define an operating model to foster a culture of innovation and experimentation.
- Identify people, processes, and technologies to develop and operationalize AI solutions.
- Create strategy for AI‑first products and develop commercialization opportunities.
- Originate new opportunities and see through the sales cycle.
- Travel up to 80% of the time and as needed based on client expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working within Data and AI Strategy, including skills in Data Management, Data Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Responsible AI, and leading tech‑driven transformations.
- 7+ years of high‑value consulting experience or equivalent internal consulting experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience leading workstreams and meeting deadlines.
- Minimum 7 years of large‑scale delivery experience with minimal oversight.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (Nice to have).
- Experience with senior‑level (C‑level or C‑level minus one) conversations.
- Strong program management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Driven and entrepreneurial: ability to originate and shape new deals, lead in client conversations, and engage in go‑to‑market activities.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Excellent leadership and people skills: proven ability to build effective teams and foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, and to build strong client relationships.
- Experience bringing innovative ideas to projects.
