Activity Director

Activity Director roles with Saturday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay range: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour (Depending on Experience).

Provide an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the Community and promote resident participation through regularly scheduled high-quality activities, excursions, special events, guest speakers, movie showings, exercise sessions, clubs, games, art and creativity opportunities, educational classes and other activities.
Actively engage in residents’ activities by personally leading activities and encouraging participation in all activities, excursions, and events.
Recruit, develop, manage, and schedule Activity Assistants, Drivers, and Community Volunteers.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following safety standards.
Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
Able to drive Community vehicles.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Requires current Class C license; Class B or Class C with Passenger Endorsement preferred.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in providing planned activities and evaluating residents’ needs.
One (1) year of experience supervising and managing employees and volunteers preferred.
Flexibility in work schedule, including holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).
Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (including physical and TB tests).
Health and safety measures may include vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and use of PPE per regulatory guidelines.
