Vice President - Private Equity Consumer

A growing private investment firm is seeking a Vice President to join its Consumer investing team in Dallas. This role offers the opportunity to take a lead position in evaluating, executing, and managing investments in founder-led and family-owned businesses.
Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of experience in private equity and investment banking (covering consumer)
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience with consumer-focused businesses preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and lead transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead due diligence processes, including financial analysis, market research, and operational assessments
- Build detailed financial models and investment theses
- Support deal execution from sourcing through closing
- Work closely with portfolio company management teams to drive growth initiatives and value creation
- Monitor portfolio performance and support strategic decision-making
- Assist with fundraising and investor communications as needed
