Job Description

We are seeking a highly strategic Senior Manager of Product Marketing to act as the subject matter expert (SME), narrative owner, and content creator for a critical set of payment acceptance products. Experience in the payments industry is highly favorable, as we need an experienced PMM who can hit the ground running.

In this role, you will directly support our organizational objective to meet or exceed financial performance by increasing pipeline and interest, supporting sellers to drive acquisition, and increasing demand with compelling solution content.

You will own the product narrative across the entire customer journey. You are a champion for lifecycle management, keeping a continuous pulse on what our existing customers need and consistently generating ideas to keep them informed, engaged, and excited about our products and solutions.

You will work within a highly collaborative, matrixed team, partnering closely with product management, regional leads, and campaign and demand teams to deliver the right message, to the right audience, through the right channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product SME & Narrative Strategy
    • Act as the primary product SME for assigned products, deeply understanding the pain points of both technical buyers (developers) and business buyers (merchants).
    • Develop compelling product and solution narratives that differentiate Visa Acceptance Solutions in the market.
    • Lead product launch planning and coordination for your portfolio, ensuring seamless go-to-market execution.
    • Provide commercialization consultation and secure necessary approvals for new features and product updates.
    • Maintain a sharp understanding of the market landscape by gathering and synthesizing competitive intelligence.
    • Be the primary point of contact for product management leadership on assigned products and contribute to product commercialization and development plans.
  • Lifecycle Management & Customer Engagement
    • Maintain a continuous pulse on the needs of our existing install base. Identify strategic opportunities to drive cross-sell, upsell, and new feature adoption.
    • Ideate and champion ongoing customer engagement initiatives to keep current users informed and excited about Visa Acceptance products.
    • Partner with the content production lead to feed strategic messaging and customer-focused updates into owned retention channels (e.g., product update documents, newsletters, and social media).
  • Sales Enablement & Core Asset Creation
    • Build, maintain, and own core sales enablement materials for your products, focusing on pitch decks and one-pagers.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with product management and sales, providing direct sales play support and solution expertise to help sellers drive acquisition.
  • Cross-Functional GTM Orchestration
    • Collaborate with Regional Leads to understand local market nuances and identify regional opportunities for your products.
    • Provide strategic input and define needs for the Campaign Team to execute promotional content across social media, ads, landing pages, and email.
    • Partner with the Content Production lead to build high-fidelity promotional assets like guides, webinars, product webpages, demos, blogs, and videos.
